We stayed at The Village Inn the last 3 nights in the family suite. I will be honest, some of these reviews were so bad, we were hesitant. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable and peaceful. When we booked the room with the front desk, Becca was so friendly. We got to talking and I told her we were there to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. Becca left sweet notes and chocolate bars on our pillows. The overall experience was excellent that we felt inclined to write this much deserved, positive review. We will definitely be back again.

Our room was clean, along with the bathroom. Had a deck with two chairs. It was quiet. The town of Blowing Rock is a beautiful place to stay for the weekend. Looking to stay again, soon.

Very romantic little place. Quiet. Comfortable and clean. The pond out front is perfect for sitting to eat pizza and share a bottle of wine in the evening and relaxing to a cup of coffee in the AM. The rooms even have back porch with rocking chairs to relax. Fyi rooms 114 and down back to trees and a small stream very cute. If you are looking for all the trappings of Hilton, Marriott or the Ritz, and a one week stay with gym, diners, lounge etc etc. this is not the place. But it was 5 star quiet, clean and peaceful.

Comfy bed, clean room, servicable bathroom. Allowed pets and had plenty of quiet areas for them to do there business. Heater didn't quite keep up with the 14 degree temps but they were happy to offer 2 portables that did the job.

I'm giving this place 5 stars all the way around. We were flooded everywhere due to Hurricane Helene. Plus it was parent student weekend at App. Prices are high here everywhere, and their rates were actually a little better. It's the location. And yes, in the mountains, sometimes cable and wifi are spotty. Helen caused the hot water to go out, but everything else worked fine, when some hotels lost power. As for the rooms, they were extremely clean, barefoot walk approved. Stone floors in the bathroom, real wood floors, extremely comfortable bed. Pristine clean. The back porch had 2 rocking chairs, a privacy wall, and a creek running in the back. Beautiful and peaceful. Non smoking property, though I did sneak one outside... shhhh. I definitely recommend !!!

Beautiful little place tucked away in Blowing Rock. I had always seen it while passing through to Boone but never checked it out. While looking for a last-minute getaway spot, Village Inn popped up. I looked at the photos and decided to go ahead and book for one night. I was a little apprehensive at first, thinking it was just another run down roadside motel. I was wrong. Yes this is a small place, but it is beautiful and charming. It has modern amenities like high speed internet and large TVs. The common area has a nice big fireplace and comfy chairs and gives you a ski resort feel. We stayed in the basic rooms. While being small, it didn't feel tiny. The decor is cabin-esk and cozy. The room was clean and well kept and stocked like a typical hotel room (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, ect). Our room had a balcony off the back with 2 rocking chairs and a little table. In the "back yard" was a fire pit and a picknic table with a little grill. The pond out front was what sold me. It has a small fountain to create some white noise and has lots of seating around the bank. It was nice to sit out there and relax while drinking a cup of coffee. This isn't a modern hotel. No continental breakfast. No vending machines. No loud hallways. And no BS. I love this place and will be back here again.

This was a great place to stay in Blowing Rock with easy access off a main road. There are quite a few restaurants and shops within a short drive or walk. The room was clean and had lots of space with a couch and seating area separate from the beds. The place is also dog friendly for a fee per day.

We had a great time in Blowing Rock. Really nice location. All kinds of mountain weather, snow, rain, fog so dense you couldn't really see the road. The cottage was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Staff was very friendly as well. Would stay again.
